I believe you learn best when you’re having fun. After all, If you are going to become a master at something, it generally takes thousands of hours of practice and you aren’t going to spend thousands of hours practicing something that you hate. Right?
As your pottery teacher, it’s my job to make sure your pottery lesson is as fun as humanly possible. This way, even if you never get near another piece of clay again, you had a fun playing with it during your lesson.
On the other hand, if you find that coming here is more fun than a barrel of monkeys, then you just may continue on towards mastery.
Come with a friend, come alone, just come on by to have fun and enjoy yourself.
A note about your lesson:
Please know that your lesson is an experience…a really FUN and powerful one. What this means is that you will not being going home with a piece of pottery. Successfully creating a piece of pottery takes a tremendous amount of practice and once you have learned how to throw on the wheel, the actual process of going from wet clay to finished, glazed pottery can often take week.
I do promise you a great time and you’ll gain a lot of knowledge during your lesson. Can’t wait to play in the clay with you.
